If you're a writer and you're looking for a nonprofit organization to get involved with, I recommend the Canadian youth publishing platform INKspire! Check out an article I wrote for it here:

I'm on the arts writing team of INKspire, which means I have to write one article a month which fits in the arts category. If you're interested in volunteering, you can sign up to be a writer for arts, social issues, or science and techonology. INKspire accepts writers between the ages of 14 and 29 in Canada. They also host creative writing workshops in Toronto. The team at INKspire is great and will host brainstorming sessions and team meetings to help you write better! Most of the submissions are articles but you can submit poetry and prose as well. I really hope some of you will consider joining because it's a lot of fun :)
