Chicken Smoothie Collection Tips

This is a player guide for new users on chickensmoothie.com. There are 4 important parts of Chicken Smoothie:

  1. Pet collections
  2. Item collections
  3. Oekaki (the art forum)
  4. The general discussion forum
In this post we'll go over the pet collections, which some would argue is the most important part of Chicken Smoothie. Here are some useful tips for building your collection:

Get all the monthly adoptables you can, even the species you don't like

To commit to the game you have to log in at least once a month for a few minutes to get all the adoptables for that month. To do this go to the "adopt" section of the website.

Every month there are a few of each of these species available. There is a set limit on the number you can adopt. If you are a new user, I suggest adopting the max number each month. This way you will have lots of pets and if you don't like some of them, they can be used as trade fodder to swap with other users for pets you like better. Do not trade away any animals until they are finished growing. This is because you will not know their rarity/trade value until they are adults.

Add wishlist pets

Go to the archive and add all the designs you like to your wishlist. These are previously released pets that you may not own. Your goal is to try to obtain these pets through trading.

Here are some of the creatures on my wishlist.

Some users add creatures that they don't really want to their wishlist. Why is that? Well adding any kind of rare/high demand pet regardless of whether you want it makes it easier to spot those pets in the pound as they will be marked with "on your wishlist."

Speaking of the pound...

Check it once in a while. If you're lucky, it will be open and you can have one free pet of your choice. This is really useful for new users.

Visit adoption centres for more free pets

Go to the forum where there is an adoption centre for free pets. These adoption threads are run by other users on the site. You can donate unwanted pets to these centres (or send them to the pound). Each adoption centre will have different rules based on how many pets you are allowed to take in a day, so read those rules carefully.

So those are some tips to build your pet collections on CS. Send me a trade if you want, my username is _ex0ticprincess.

Here are some pets I own, just to flex a bit:
