I am not sure who started this amazing effort to promote history through making humorous historical memes but it is just amazing! Basically, chose an ancient civilization or culture that you love and help it to conquer to the world. Lol. 

The Facebook pages

Depending on what historical time period/culture you are most interested in, there are lots of pages to chose from. For example, I am supporting the Absurd Aztec memes page. This means I have liked the Facebook page known as 'Absurd Aztec memes' and I have liked, commented, and shared their Facebook posts. Here are some examples of their posts. (If you don't know what a meme is, it's basically a picture with a funny caption). 

The reason why you have to like, comment, and share as many posts as you can from the page/culture you support is because it will increase their chances of taking over the world in the online game known as the Meme wars.

You will see a world map. Scroll to the side of the page and it will show you a color coded legend of all the nations that are currently in the meme war. Rough Roman memes is currently in the lead and has conquered half the world. (*sigh* Roma Invicta) but we can not let them win. Not when the glory of Mexico-Tenochtitlan is in this game (YAY! TIAHUE MEXICA).

Each nation starts near their historical starting point.
Nations have a number of territories, each territory is exactly one pixel on the map.
All Nations start with 100 pixels, reguardless of their total likes.
Nations can capture territories by getting page likes, or likes.shares/comments on their posts.
Values:

• Page Like: 50 territories
• Post Share: 40 territories
• Post Comment: 30 territories
• Post Like: 20 territories

If a nation has no territories, it can no longer expand and is therefore out of the game
